This is absolutely irritating and the game is almost unplayable at this point.
They posted last year they were working on a hot fix? Seems the support for this game is severely lacking.

You must be an anomaly bc from what I've read its a common problem. There's even a fb post about a possible hot fix from the dev team... so no its not just me.
There is also another issue where the character literally drops off the map to a black screen and you have to rum aimlessly around to get back on.
I play a lot of other games on my iPad zero issues.. -

Yeah it’s really annoying to have a game that crashes a lot on iPad. I have an iPad Air 3. Plenty of power. I also have made purchases. Maybe if you buy stuff you get a free crashes added to your account also. I like how the game is, a big contender to lead games into 2021. But with these crashes I don’t think it can make it. . -

I managed to get to 208 and then just got frustrated and put it down. Hopefully there's a fix soon. . -
